Yoanna House (born April 9, 1980) was a contestant on cycle 2 of ANTM in 2004, where she was the winner.

Early Life[]

House was born and raised in, Jacksonville, Florida; her father, a physician, is from Canada, and her mother is from Mexico. From early childhood, House showed great interest in fashion, which she claims was spurred by her grandmother, saying in an interview: "I was always in her closet. We would watch TV, read magazines, go to the mall. She taught me about couture and how important it was. A lot of my appreciation came from her."

After graduating from Bishop Kenny High School, House attended the University of Florida, majoring in International Relations and Asian Studies. Around this time, House also began to pursue a career in fashion modeling, but claimed she found her options limited because she was overweight. She says she eventually lost 60 pounds after changing her diet and adopting an exercise plan.

ANTM[]

Yoanna was also infamous for her constant feuding between Camille since at least the second week, because she thought Camille was fake. When Catie won the challenge that episode, Yoanna was upset that she picked Camille to share the prize. There was a house meeting to discuss Camille's behavior, which led to Yoanna shouting at her. She won the episode three challenge.

In episode seven, she fell during the music video shoot, which put her in the bottom two with Sara, and was saved in an emotional judging. In episode eight, Camille and Yoanna decide to become friends, and after winning the go-see challenge in Milan, Camille even picked Yoanna to share the prize. However, Camille later told Tyra at dinner that Yoanna had an eating disorder, which made Yoanna turn back on Camille.

Despite the constant remarks about her body throughout the season. Yoanna eventually won.
